Hello and welcome to our Ski Team website. Here you will find all sorts of information about our team, along with pictures to give you a glimpse of what we do and how we do it. Although ski racing is a winter sport, our program is nearly a year round adventure. Each Fall the team begins the journey with our night out to view Warren Miller ski films. Dryland training begins in November, followed by on-snow training after Thanksgiving. The racing schedule begins in January and ends at the STATE championships in March. In December we take our annual training trip to White Pass in Washington to train and bond as a team. In February we also take a trip to the Lodges on Mt. Hood for additional training followed by a race the next day. In the Summer months, returning racers have a chance to attend ski race camps to further improve their skills to prepare for the following season.
A Little Team Information: Wilson HS and Central Catholic HS are actually two separate ski teams that compete in the Three Rivers League. The two teams have done everything as one entity, sharing the same coaching staff, training facilities, fundraising efforts, etc. Our team is looking for skiers of beginning to expert ability, who have a strong work ethic, and don't mind having FUN!! Past ski racing experience is a plus, but the majority of new people that join our team have never actually raced before. We'll teach you!
2006-07 Season: The Wilson girls varsity won the Three Rivers League Championship. They went on to compete at STATE which was held this year in Ashland. The Wilson girls finished 7th over all at the State Race with Kelly LeCoq finishing 7th. The Wilson boys varsity finished 5th in the Three Rivers League and the Wilson girls and boys finished 3rd in the Three Rivers League combined team championship. Evan LeCoq qualified to compete at STATE in both the Slalom and GS events. The 2007 JV boys team finished 1st overall in combined events in the league and 1st in GS as well. They finished 3rd in Slalom. The Central Catholic boys varsity won the Three Rivers League Championship. They went on to compete at STATE and finshed with a 4th Place finish for the Combined Team, 5th in Team Slalom and 5th in Team GS. Sean Fagan has a TOP TEN finish in Individual GS. Congratulations to all of our skiers!

The Future Looks Bright: Both the girls and boys teams will lose some valuable skiers to graduation, but we are a very deep & motivated team, and we look forward to kicking some more butt next winter.
